| HTML – The root of Web
Designing |
HTML
language is easily comprehendible by every Search Engine and
that is why, is given preference too, by many website designers.
Flash and heavy image websites may look good, but are not that
effective. HTML is a key to a website’s success and let’s find
out why?
Use of Flash and its graphics, JavaScript and other images can
make your website heavy. And heavy sites are generally not easy
to be detected through Search Engine results. Although, this
does not mean that your website will not be found for a specific
and related search. This is because al the Search engines work
on keywords. Keywords are the words visitors use when finding a
website. Websites that contain well balanced content are better.
A good content rich content is one of the main reasons of
driving any website to the top in the Search engine rankings.
Websites should have about a content which is rich with keywords
and unique in nature.
HTML is the most comprehensive language for any Search Engines.
Search engines cannot read flash, JavaScript or any images. All
that concerns them is the content of a particular site. That is
why for a web designer to create a strong based HTML website.
Floating menus, animated menus and animation look very good but
are invisible to the search engines. Also, HTML plays a major
role the Link Building of any site. Search Engines Links give
vital importance to Links, both incoming and outgoing to
websites. If your website is linked to a website of a higher
page rank, it is better for your website and your page rank. The
links on your website should be related and relevant to the
theme of your website. Genuine, keyword rich and unique content
will bring relevant visitors to your page along with good page
rank from Google.
But, just to avoid making your website heavy, do not stop using
images! Yes! Having a website with heavy imagery is not a good
option. But if the website is presented with a systematic look,
with balanced pages and keyword rich content, then the optimum
use of images do enhance the look of the site.
So it’s important to keep in mind that websites that look
dazzling are not always good and solving the purpose. Your
website should look fine, and also be effective and smooth to
navigate through.
